Osaka, Japan: The International Solar Alliance (ISA) to host the next editions of its flagship initiatives—the CEO Caucus and the International Solar Festival (ISF), will be held at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from July 3–4, 2025.

These high-impact global platforms aim to accelerate the solar energy transition by bringing together government leaders, industry pioneers, youth innovators, and community champions from across the globe.

Launched in 2024, the CEO Caucus and ISF have rapidly become leading forums for shaping the global solar agenda, fostering international collaboration, and advancing innovative solar deployment.

“The CEO Caucus and International Solar Festival are not just flagship initiatives of ISA—they are dynamic, global convenings for public-private collaboration, youth-led innovation, and transformative solar action,” said Mr. Ashish Khanna, Director General of ISA. “By hosting them at World Expo 2025 in collaboration with India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), we are moving from ambition to action in the global solar movement.”

Khanna emphasized India’s role as a global solar leader, having reached 224 GW of renewable energy capacity—including 108 GW from solar—as of April 2025. He added that the upcoming events are designed to spark global momentum, strengthen partnerships, and support solar-led growth across ISA’s 124 member countries.

CEO Caucus 2025: Forging the Future of Solar:-
Under the theme “Forging the Future of Solar: India–Japan Innovations for a Sustainable Asia”, the 2025 CEO Caucus will explore new frontiers in cross-border investment, resilient supply chains, and clean energy innovation.

A key highlight will be the India–Japan Solar Industry Roundtable, which will delve into collaboration on solar manufacturing, green hydrogen, and battery storage—critical sectors for India’s target of 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030.

The Osaka edition follows the successful first CEO Caucus of 2025, held in Brussels in June, which focused on Europe’s contribution to a diversified global solar value chain.;-

International Solar Festival: Stories That Inspire:-
The second International Solar Festival will shine a light on grassroots innovation and solar-powered impact stories through a variety of engaging sessions and performances, including:

Young G Limitless: Leading the Solar Takeover – A high-energy spotlight on youth changemakers and tech influencers driving the future of solar.

Dastan-e-Aftaab (Story of the Sun) – A captivating cultural showcase celebrating solar heritage and the sun’s universal significance.

Following a vibrant debut in New Delhi in September 2024, the Festival will continue to amplify themes of youth engagement, gender inclusion, entrepreneurship, private sector participation, and community empowerment.

With its growing global footprint, the ISA aims to make solar energy not just a climate solution, but a catalyst for opportunity, equity, and innovation worldwide.
