New Delhi: On World Water Day, D’Celestial Connect (DCC) in association with Shree Yamuna Sewa Samiti (SYSS) have organised “Yamuna Mahotsav 2023-24” as part of the Clean Yamuna River Awareness Programme.
The event was aimed at fostering awareness about the imperative need to restore and maintain the cleanliness of the Yamuna River, will take place at Yamuna Aarti Ghat, Dhai Pusta, Sonia Vihar, Delhi.
Supported by Sugmya Foundation, Mangalam Films, and Yamuna Sansad, the Mahotsav promises to be an enriching cultural and educational experience for all attendees.
It will feature various activities and performances highlighting the significance of preserving the Yamuna River.

The Mahotsav will feature a lineup of performances including a classical vocal recital by the talented Nitin Sharma and a mystic vocal performance by the eminent Bhakti singer, Ragini Rainu. Additionally, Abhinayak Rangmanch will present an engaging Nukkad Natak, offering a compelling narrative on the significance of the Yamuna Cleaning Drive.
Expressing her enthusiasm for participating in the Mahotsav, Ragini Rainu remarked, “Initiatives like this Mahotsav hold immense significance in contributing towards the preservation of the Yamuna river, which is not just a water body but a lifeline for Delhi.”
The event will be graced by Pt. Abhay Sopori as the Chief Guest, along with esteemed personalities including International Yoga Guru Suneel Singh, Narendra Kumar Yadav (IRS), social worker Charanjeev Malhotra of Sant Shiv Sewa Foundation, and Vikas Sharma (Public Policy & CSR Expert).
