Lexicon Group of Institutes inks pact with Scrapman

Under the agreement, it will develop an innovative paper waste management solution to meet the Sustainable Development Goal and raise “awareness of sustainability” among children.

New Delhi: The Lexicon Group of Institutes collaborated with Scrapman to develop an innovative paper waste management solution to meet the Sustainable Development Goal and raise “awareness of sustainability” among children.

The wastepaper will be collected from the campus and other institutes as part of the initiative. After that, the various recycling items will be sorted, separated, and transported to the recycling units.

Once this process is completed, they will provide the school with sanitation equipment, stationery, and various other recycled items as needed.

Nasir Shaikh, CEO of The Lexicon Group of Institutes & MultiFit, spoke about the initiative, saying that for the past two decades, the organisation has been a pioneer in the city and state’s education sectors. We work with children of all ages, and what better way to raise awareness and instil the practise of sustainability than through children?

Children are the future, and they will shape the world in which future generations will live. As a result, it is critical that we train them young with all of the proper practises and instil the proper mindsets and thought processes in them. Sustainability Goals are the building blocks of an organisation.

The initiative is a collaboration with “The Scrapman,” who has developed an innovative paper waste management solution, and the team at The Lexicon Group of Institutes has taken up the initiative to raise awareness about sustainability and ensure that it becomes a way of life for everyone at Lexicon and beyond.

So far, the Lexicon Schools have collected over 3000 kilogrammes of wastepaper and converted it into new stationary for use. “They have also seen the children understand the importance of sustainability as a result of this initiative,” said the statement.

Sustainability is more than a trend; it is a necessity, and The Lexicon Group of Institutes, one of India’s leading education hubs, continues to lead the way with their Scrapman’s Initiative.

The Lexicon Group of Institutes has been a pioneer in the field of education and has transformed the lives of children through their unique teaching methods. While students are taught about having a positive mindset, believing in themselves, academics, sports, and other extracurricular activities, they are also taught about ways to incorporate sustainable practises into their daily lives.
