Modern Public School hosts inspiring session with Peepal Baba to foster environmental responsibility

New Delhi: Modern Public School (MPS), Shalimar Bagh, reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship by hosting an insightful and interactive session with renowned environmentalist Swami Prem Parivartan, popularly known as “Peepal Baba”.

Celebrated for planting over 20 million trees across 202 districts in 18 Indian states, Peepal Baba shared his life’s mission of spreading climate change awareness and conserving nature.

The session aimed at nurturing a greener mindset among students and was attended by Dr. B.C. Sabata, Senior Scientific Officer, Department of Environment, along with students and educators from leading Delhi-NCR schools including Savodhya Vidhyalaya, Mount Abu Public School, and Presidium School.

Through powerful anecdotes and practical suggestions, Peepal Baba urged the young audience to embrace sustainable practices and plant more trees to secure the planet’s future.

Students of Modern Public School actively engaged with the environmentalist, learning about the indispensable role of trees in maintaining ecological balance and pledging to shoulder their collective responsibility towards the Earth. The event proved to be a transformative experience, enriching students’ understanding of environmental challenges and strengthening their resolve to make a positive difference.

Highlighting the school’s vision, Principal Dr. Alka Kapur said, “At MPS, we place immense emphasis on developing responsible citizens who are capable of giving back to society and Mother Earth.

Sessions like these not only enhance the knowledge base of our students but also encourage them to become changemakers for a sustainable tomorrow. We are incredibly grateful to Peepal Baba for mentoring our students on this path of virtue.”

The session stood as a testament to Modern Public School’s enduring commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious leaders of tomorrow — students groomed with sensitivity, accountability, and respect for nature.
