New Delhi: Over 52 crore saplings have been planted across India under the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, said the Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said here on Tuesday.
“Another milestone achieved in the tree plantation #एकपेड़माँकेनाम campaign. Initiated after a clarion call of PM Shri @narendramodi ji, under the campaign furthering #MissionLiFE, more than 52 crore seedlings have been planted so far” said the Minister on Social media post on X.
‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign was launched by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the occasion of World Environment Day.
In his clarion call for the campaign, the Prime Minister had urged everyone to contribute to a better planet and sustainable development through this initiative.
