EVI Technologies launches mobile app for EV users

New Delhi: EVI Technologies on Thursday launched a mobile application “EVI Grid” on the play store to enable users of electric vehicles to provide “multiparametric facilities” on single platform.

EVI Grid is a personalised mobile app that enables its users to find the nearest compatible EV charging point, navigate, schedule a slot, and make an online payment.

In addition, its advanced software allows its users to even book a charging slot by viewing the nearest available charging station through Google Maps and the number of charging points available at the station.

Talking about the app and why it’s important for the customers, Head Project of EVIT, Rahul Soni, said, “The EVI Grid stands to be a tailor-made app for an EV user, providing multiparametric facilities.”

“EVI Grid works on internationally recognised technology that is based on connecting different charge point operators (CPO) to the electric mobility service provider (eMSP) by means of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPI). Consequently, the EV user is equipped to connect with the maximum possible chargers in a city, “he said.

Rahul said, “The company’s vision is aimed at providing a user-friendly interface at each step: locating, reserving, and payment, for each charging session. An EV owner (2W, 3W, or 4W) needs to register on the EV Grid app using one’s email id and password and can book the charging slots in advance for a hassle-free and comfortable experience. “

According to the company, “users can also view the important details of the charging station such as charging tariff, operator’s contact info, available charge point, charging station status, and access hours through the app.”

One can effortlessly monitor the ongoing charging session throughout and can also

You can view the session logs of the previous charging sessions anytime.

The easy-to-access app from EVI Technologies provides users with the smoothest and safest payment gateways.

Moreover, the EV charger and server connection focus on enhancing the EV user experience by providing faster navigation to chargers, remote charging control, and booking services.

EVI Technologies, one of India’s fastest-growing EV charging solutions infrastructure companies, equipped EV chargers in almost 17 cities, including Delhi-NCR, Rampur (HP), Patna, Ranchi, Raipur, Dantewada, Hyderabad, Thane, Madurai, Trivandrum, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Haldwani, Rudrapur, Hapur, Shillong, Sonipat.
