EVI Technologies to expand EV charging points in sync with govt’s green policy

New Delhi: EVI Technologies has installed 380 EV chargers in 17 cities across India, in line with the government’s push for environmentally friendly mobility solutions.

Talking about the installation process and customer satisfaction, Rupesh Kumar, CEO, EVI Technologies, said, “We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully installed 380 EV charging stations in 17 cities. 

“We are also pleased to be able to provide superior and low-cost EV chargers throughout India, as we believe in providing complete customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services at a reasonable price”. he said

“In the coming days, we plan to install more EV charging stations in other metropolitan cities across India based on demand,” Rupesh said.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently reaffirmed the government’s commitment to environmentally friendly mobility solutions and systems to drive India’s sustainable development growth.

This is especially important because the transportation and mobility sector accounts for slightly more than a fifth of India’s energy needs, and almost all of it is dependent on fossil fuels.

In a statement, the company stated, “EVI technologies’ products are designed and developed with robust power technologies and advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) based algorithms, resulting in a perfect product catered to the market.

“In terms of future investments, the company stated that it plans to establish charging and battery swapping stations for electric two- and three-wheelers in cities across India. 

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in the Budget that the government will implement a battery swapping policy to increase the use of EVS in the country due to space constraints for setting up charging stations and that interoperability standards will be developed.

Many people believe that the measures are in line with the government’s goal of having electric vehicles account for at least 30% of private car sales by 2030, which will help reduce pollution and reduce India’s reliance on crude oil imports.
